The mission of the Corporation for National and Community Service is to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic participation through service and volunteering. The program seeks to prioritize the investment of national service resources in: economic opportunity, education, healthy futures, veterans and military families, rural intermediaries, safer communities, and faith-based organizations.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Indian Tribes; institutions of higher education; local governments; nonprofit organizations; and states.
FUNDER MATCH REQUIREMENT:
24% for the first three-year funding period. Starting with year four, the match requirement gradually increases every year to 50% by year ten.
